Specialty Materials
For the brief that the standard range does not answer.
01Our view
Back-lit onyx, thin porcelain panels, metal and glass surfaces, exterior pavers on pedestals. When a design calls for something unusual, we source it, confirm it can be installed where it is drawn, and plan how it will get there.
02Where it works
- Back-lit stone
- Roof terraces and pedestal systems
- Wall cladding panels
- Commercial and hospitality surfaces
03What to know
- Feasibility first
- Unusual materials are checked against the substrate, the building code and the install method before they are specified.
- Samples at scale
- A sample the size of a hand rarely shows how a feature surface behaves. We arrange larger mock-ups when it matters.
At a glance
- Sourcing
- Domestic and European manufacturers and quarries
- Support
- Mock-ups, technical data, installation method review
